Amy Shipman & Jenny McIntyre request your presence On Saturday the 24th day of June Two Thousand and Six At 8:30 in the morning For our Formal Two Rivers ATV Club Ride in Solon, Iowa
We will leave the UBC parking lot in Davenport, IA at 8:00AM. Formal dress is required. Women and girls should wear dresses and men and boys should wear suit jackets or button up shirts and ties. Of course helmets, boots, and gloves should also be worn. We can change later in the afternoon, after we get some before and after pictures. I suggest digging out old brides maid or prom dresses or visiting the Goodwill or Salvation Army, as I imagine these clothes will be destroyed. Lets all try to look our best. Please remember, this is not a costume party, this is a formal affair. Don’t get me wrong though, tacky is welcome!

Salvation Army has TONS of suit coats for under $10 plus ties (even zip ones for you 400ex) and lots more stuff. A person could probably walk out of there with a whole formal get-up for under $20. That's probably what I would do. Sounds like fun, and would definately make for some great pictures. My suggestion is that if you want to try to get some media exposure out of this we should come up with a reason for doing it. Wether its promoting ATV safety, awareness or whatever. Media tends to show more interest in things like this if it's something that is an issue in the community. It would be a great chance to put a positive spin on ATV's for once and get some exposure for the club. What about "Down and Dirty with ATV safety" or "Dressed for Success" get it? being in formal wear and having all the proper safety riding gear, kinda plays on that both ways. Anywho just my 2 cents.

Better yet, let's put on some "Fat Suits" and ride around. Of course some of us wouldn't have to buy any suits for that. Not to mention, if you fall off, it would ease the landing!! Then once you got done rolling around, you could get on and do'er again! YeeHaa!!

What a unique idea, I love it! Too bad we'll be out of town that day, please do another one sometime. Or... possibly a Halloween ride in October, some of us already have our costumes!

Some of us dont need costumes!!!! If we have a Halloween ride, Z Racer and Fascat dont have to worry about dressin up. Both of them wear there costumes year round.

If tacky is welcome, roll out the red carpet for Weck! ;D ;D Hey, just rent a tux and get the extra insurance. I know some guys that went swimming in theirs and had no problem returning them. That's what the insurance is for, right??

Could someone help refresh my memory, with the change of management at Solon do you have to have your quad registered and have the sticker to ride there?
