I believe it's still a State run deal. So you would need the sticker I guess.

Yes Solon is a full fledged state funded Atv park. DRN can and will write a ticket now. The Second weekend in April was the last chance for free ridin at Solon.

Me and the wife and another couple road there last Friday and the dnr was there all day. Nice guy and all he was stopping people and warning them before they road so no tickets..He said that memorial day weekend there was over 200 riders there and only about 60 of them were legal. So they are there alot and he said he'd be there all summer. So you better be registered or its a $56.00 ticket If you have a sport quad I'm not sure how much fun it will be the sand track is flat and there are is no realtrack there yet. Just trail riding and playing in the creek( if that is what you call it). Matt

Are we suppose to wear our outfits to Solon or can we change once we get there? My dress is kinda itchy and not very comfortable. Let me know though, if I have to wear it I will. Sheraptor

Do they require helmets at Solon now & can we ride double? I also have a friend that wants to go with and just has an old 3-wheeler that hasn't had a sticker a day in its life. Do they at least give warnings or do they just walk around handing out tickets all day?

$15.50 for an out of state sticker, not sure what in-state registration is, and who doesn't own a helmet?
Doesn't sound like much of a damper to me?

I am talking about the "farm" machines that have never left the farm and haven't even been titled or registered anywhere since they were new. Solon used to be a "free for all" which I thought was nice. I know the guys in the jeeps we pulled out last time I was there sure apriciated it..... to sum it up I think it sucks anytime I loose a freedom that I once enjoyed no matter what it was. This seems to be happening more and more lately in the land of the F*#E.
