#3 in the IATVHSS has come and gone. And to say the least it was Muddy, with a chance of Muddy, And some more Muddy. Open Fly Racing was short some riders this race due to Fathers Day and just ain't gonna race in the mud syndrome. After a rainy night Saturday night I headed to the race track prepared to do battle, or so I thought. I got a awesome hole shot and didn't look back until I got stuck in a traffic jam. Had noticed some smoke coming off my engine and couldn't figure out why till I was stuck. As I was getting off noticed my oil cap was missing. So got unstuck and rode the rest of 1st lap out of oil and smoking like hades. Got to check out and pulled in to pit lane and borrowed a oil cap and a quart of oil and got back to the mud bogg. Now I am about 6 minutes down and just went out to finish the race but every lap I was picking up some time so I rallied on and caught up to and passed the leader to take a hard fought win. Came in 16th overall in the AM classes.
Turbo lined up in the PM classes to do battle in the B26+ (after the am racers cleaned the mud off the track) #38 in the B26+ was on fire he didn't make any mistakes and his quad ran great, Turbo held on to 2nd place almost till the end and then found some soft dirt better know as a mud pit and lost a couple of places, but came in 4th it was a great race for most everybody Turbo pulled out 15th overall in the PM race. Jason Noble came in 3rd. Ta2d had Quad issues again. Maybe he needs to get off the Kawi?
Jason Nobles daughter pulled off a 1st in her class I think it was her first win in racing, And the Weckel boys finished well in there classes. Considering the mud and all any and everybody who challenged this track is a winner. So till #4 at Indianola Fastcat1 is outta here.........................
