I received this from Ronda Fowler of the DNR today for anyone that may be interested. I want to send this reminder about the upcoming training opportunity. (Details included below.) Please encourage anyone who is interested in becoming an ATV Volunteer Education Instructor to get in touch with me. I have only had a limited number of people express interest. We need 12 people in order to conduct this training. If you have someone who would like to help teach but not be responsible for being a lead-type of instructor, I can accommodate this. I am working on a program to get the ATV Patrol Officers (seasonal officers who work in the parks) involved with the education program. They will need volunteers to work with them. It would be particularly helpful to have someone in the area of each of the parks available to help them teach the classes. They can also help with another certified instructor if they would like to ease into the role of being an instructor. Thank you for your assistance with getting this information out, and please remind people that this will likely be the only training offered this year.
