Ready to go again, Round #3 of the Iatvhss will be in a couple of weeks and to say the least I am ready. I hope the weather kinda cooperates with us this time. It probably wont but will always hope. The track is on some higher ground and is looking good, the low parts of the land is about 12' under water, so don't want to slip off a hillside could be wet. All of the Open Fly Racing team will be there plus maybe, hopefully some others will pick up the fever. Josh, Jamie, Rob, and myself will be looking to have some fun and keep the points race going. So till later Fastcat1 Outta here.

Rob and I rode the track a couple of weeks ago and is going to be fast. They are re-routing parts of it now because the flood water moved up into some of the draws. Last year I was catching catfish on the track. ;D Anyways, hope you guys have been getting some seat time on some offcamber areas.

I got a newsletter from the IATVHSS that the race was postponed because the track and parking is underwater. I know the parking isn't because the guys bailed the hay over there yesterday and it is on high ground. Have you heard about this?

Oops my bad, its Spragueville that got postponed. You would think since the Carlisle race is on my families ground that I would know what was going on.

#3 Carlise has come and gone, and what a race. This track was totally fast. Up hills, down hills, and more off camber hill sides than I seen any where, there was 2 small spots that had some mud but it was nothing at all in respect to Monty. Open Fly Racing came thru in flying colors with it taking the top three spots in the C+ 26 class, Robbie Enquist 1st, Jamie Weckel 2nd, Josh Radcliff 3rd. Congrats to you 3 keep up the good work. Dave Willey had wheel problems that took him out of the race. I guess when you loose a wheel and they don't let 3 wheelers race your in a bind. But, thanks to the excellent crew of the IATVHSS one of the crew members asked if I wanted to finish and I say yes. He goes and get me a socket and borrows a wheel from someone so after a little side track repairs i am on the track again. But with a 48 minute lap you just can't make up the time. Loved the track and now to get ready for #4. So heres how it panned out for the overall out of 102 racers Robbie 9th Jamie 12th Josh 13th Dave 69th Again GREAT job to Open Fly Racing. Thanks to every one that helps put on these Races. And a BIG THANKS to the Quad City Quad Doctor Mark Meyers for all his help and support.. till later Fastcat1 is going to go work on the Kitty.................. ;D ;D Forgot to say that Micheal Burrows and Duane Johnson showed up to give the PM racers another education on how to go fast. Glad to see them racing in Iowa again. Good luck guys.....

Dang it Fastcat, I wish I would have known that. John and I always have extra wheels that will fit your machine. You remember that in the future we would have had you back out there in no time. You guys did a great job this weekend. I pulled off a 9th place finish in the B class. I got a really bad start but with a couple of good line choices at some bottle necks I was running up front. I ran in the top 5 most of the race until I hit one tree crushing my junk stock bumper and then hit a tree putting me over the bars onto my fat head. Then the quad rolled over my fat head. Gotta say I am feeling that today and the good stuff isn't helping it any. But I rode a new quad with hardly any time on it and no time on it with the pipe and power commander. I made a goal of top ten and finished 9th so I am stoked. Now to look to Decatur and the BAAN 125. Thanks to Rob Enquist for letting me ride down at his place last weekend trying to break in the new quad and me.

That is a good finish in the B 2d... especially on a new bike. Topper was flying till he smoked his clutch...
Quad City Quad Doctor suspension is definitly helping out this year...
