Has anyone been to the park in Tama, if we go we'll be camping, so is there enough riding to get two days worth in? Anyone have pictures? Also, what kind of terrain, much mud? It's 300 acres so I'm assuming there's over 50 miles of trails. They have a website but never update the pictures.
Thanks for any and all replies.

I don't think many folks have been there yet. At the club meeting when we voted to include Tama, I believe there were only 1 or 2 people who had ever been there. Sorry, I know that doesn't help you.

Hey there Honda My family and I have been to Tama for a ride. It is mostly made up of river bottom land and timber, very similar to Waterloo. Not many hills but we thought it was a fun ride and would go back again. I don't think you would want to stay and ride for more that 1 day. If you are planning on camping there I would suggest that the second day you go to Marshalltown and ride the park there. It is only about 16 miles from Tama so it would not take long to get there. I have not been to Marshalltown but I think it would be worth checking out at least once. Hope this may have helped

Thanks for the input. When we go I'll be sure and have the directions to Marshalltown incase we don't like Tama. We'll probably stay the night there and in the morning head to Marshalltown if we don't like the riding.
