I tried out a new product out on the 415EX and love them! The [glow=red,2,300] Magnum ATV Footpeg Extenders [/glow]cost less than $15 and give sure footing even in icy conditions. The Magnum ATV Footpeg Extenders utilize the stock footpegs & require a simple bolt-on procedure. The installation took well under an hour & only required some minor alteration to the plastic OEM heelguards. When complete, the rider benefits from the added stability of the kick-up design. Riding with the Magnum Footpeg Extenders was much better than I had ever anticipated. Right from the start I was able to ride with increased confidence ( maybe a little TOO increased ). Instead of concentrating on keeping my feet on the pegs when riding fast, I was able to move my feet around without fear of sliding off. During hard cornering (especially on rough ground) I felt like I had much more leverage & control over the ATV. Keep in mind there are race-grade products like the IMS/Roll Design foot pegs (with kick-up) priced at $240; but at ONLY $15 this is a performance modification that is easily affordable for the rest of us. [glow=red,2,300]Test #2 --> Waterloo[/glow] The weather was cloudy w/ rain on & off all day. The far end of the park was experiencing high water from snow melt & the rising river. Contrary to the collective fears, the park was NOT terribly muddy (like Solon) unless you tried to get dirty... It was a little wetter than "tacky" mud, but Henry "Mr.Clean" rode the whole park & managed to stay fairly clean throughout. Others found the mud & high water too tempting & ventured out into the muck. I followed this curious crew into the mud & muck and discovered that the [glow=red,2,300]Magnum ATV Footpeg Extenders [/glow]work equally well in the Water-crossings & Mud as they do in the Ice, Snow & slush.
