With all my mods and tuning starting to come together, I came across a new "unknown". My manual says use gas with a minimum octane of 87 or 89 (oxygenated). The dealership said they only use 91 octane in the quads. I have been using 91/93 depending on the gas station. I know higher octane is needed for higher compression engines, but my quad only has about 6-7:1 compression so am I using too high of an octane? Do 2 strokes work differently in that aspect too?
What would be the ideal octane for my TBlazer? Thanks for any help!!!!

BP 93 is da only gas for me. Most 2-strokes are low compression so octane does not matter. Its more about fresh gas then anything.
Bad Gas can be a Beotch!!!!!!!
