Cadman I have been having Qdoc work on my quad from time to time. I do 90% of all the work on my own, but he did build my motor that ran great right up until I sucked sand/water in through the carb (not his fault, I took it to Brenny's to fix the carb). I have had nothing but good business with him since I have been around and I would recommened him to anyone. I have heard stories about him being bad, but I have never seen that with him. There are quit a bit of "twisted stories" about him within the club. I can't speak for him past a year ago, but since I have been there he has defintely gone "above the call of duty" many times to me. If he indeed did "bad business" in his begining years he sure has changed since I have been around and I know he always has service work in the bay so that must mean he is doing good business or they wouldn't come around. He is also located in Andulusia, IL. Don't listen to some of the "twisted hear say" that goes around the club about him, and check him out and see how you like him. I am not the only one in this club that likes him, there are some others who take their quad there. His number is 563 320 Qdoc. Good Luck!

I know you said you are done with the original dealer but if you paid for things that were not done I would definitly have them finish what they started. Have you had a chance to call the owner about your concerns, I think he would be very receptive to the issues. Do you know who to ask for? Then if it is not handled well from there you could do something different next time.
Are your ATV's new enough to still be under warrenty? If so I'm not sure all dealers can do warrenty work.

Cadman, if you want you can bring it over to my shop and we could do the basics here!! I'm not up to speed on the intricate repairs but the tune-up stuff isn't too hard. Plus, the music's loud, the drinks are cold and Ubnpast would surely be willing to lend some Honda expertise. Maybe I'll start narrowing down a weekend date to have that "2 Rivers Shop Night" that Dr. Shez has been talking about. With just a few of the veteran ATV minds at the shop, we would be able to do all kinds of stuff in one evening! Those that have something to fix, check or add-on their quad would bring them......the others could just show up to BS , have a good time and lend a hand! I'll do some checking.

No worries Cadman! There wouldn't be any work done while intoxicated. hahaha You really can use the shop too, if you need it. I have all the tools you could possibly need, inc. air tools. I also keep all the normal ATV supplies there.....like various fluids, lubes and cleaners. I use the forklift to do all the quad lifting, and have a big table to set quads on so I can work at a comfortable level. It is a sweet set-up ......and heated!! ;D 80% of my regular work duties in the shop involve using large engineered timber beams/planks (like the planks my quad ramps are made of) so I also have every nail gun and power tool that money can buy. I don't want any crazy drunks there any more than you do!!!! Anyway, just let me know if you want to do any quad work there.

I am throwing around a date in my head and wondered if anybody would be interested in having a "2 Rivers Shop Night" at that time. How about... Sunday Nov. 25th (Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend) It is a 4 day weekend for most people so there is time to do all the family stuff, go riding at Kenny Hanson's and then get together for some quad work. If you want to do fluid changes, please just bring the fluids......and any fixes will obviously need the new parts brought. I do have a pressure washer available if needed. If you want to make adjustments, get opinions on any problems or just do a thorough clean and lube....bring your ride and get it done. As mentioned, there is heat, music, a watercooler, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, internet access and a nice restroom. I'm pretty sure I have any tools needed...or can find something to work. I have some metal-working capabilites (MIG welder, metal shear/punch/bender, grinder, drill press) and loads of hand tools. I also keep a firepit there and have plentyyyyyyy of wood in case folks want to be outside too. If there is enough interest, I will get everything lined up and try it!! Depending on what type of work is needed and how many people show up to help and advise.......I was thinking starting around 1-2pm until That would just be the time that I would be there, you could show up whenever. Anybody interested? Anybody know what they would like to do to their ATV, or showing up to help and advise?
