Does the track at East Moline get bad when its muddy? I'm kinda gettin' tempted into trying it, but not sure with all this rain we are suppose to get.
Thanks.

I have never been to this course when it was muddy. Usually it is very dry and dusty. I feel that it is one of the better courses that WFO runs.

It's on private land on the NW corner of I-88 & I-80. The directions are on their web. Check em out. www.wfopromotions.com/index.htmIf you click on the old site tab, then go to pictures there are some pics of east moline.

Had a good race race today, not to muddy not to dry. 6 riders in B class. I finished with a bent tie-rod and 5 stitches in my upper lip. Was forced to blaze my own path as guys were hung up on the trail. Unfortunately caught a vine between helmet and goggles that ripped me off my quad. Oh well no pain no gain, that move got me into 3rd.

Nice job Matt! We were wondering if that was gonna need stitches, it looked pretty split open. I managed a respectable 4th in the c class! Not too bad for a beginner!

I managed a respectable 4th in the c class! Not too bad for a beginner! Not bad at all. C class seems to be the biggest group. How many riders were there this time? Tell your buddy congrats again for me its good to see him finish one. What place did he end up?

[quote author=christop73 board=race t What place did he end up? Yes it was nice to see him finish one for a change! He ended up sixth, he was pretty pumped about it too! I heard 18 riders in C but I'm not 100% on that. I am looking forward to Marietta! Shoot me an e-mail if you wanna hit up Coal Valley either Tommorrow or next weekend.

"It's a small world" Amy and I were just buzzing around some back roads outside of Coal Valley today, and we met a great kid at a farm house, as he was unloading his quad in his driveway. Turns out he raced the WFO race with you guys (he's not a club member) and was 3rd place in C class!! Christop, the guy who finished in front of you was an 18 year old on a white YFZ450 right?! I think his name was Brett or Brent. He was a really good guy and even rode around with us for alittle bit. I though it was something to tell you guys about, just as a weird occurence.

What back roads in coal valley, Is this a legal place or just someones land you know? There are a lot of good people at the races, maybe you should come and get rid of that wait4me title. It wasn't a "legal" place ......hahahaha Amy wanted to ride somewhere new, and since our quads are at my shop outside Coal Valley, we just started riding the fields/ditches until we found the railroad tracks, and some country roads. We just drove them looking at the cool houses, and great views across the rolling flats. ;D That's how we came across Brett and met him. As far as entering a real race......not with the TBlazer. It is a very fun and easy machine, but without the ability to shift for different situations, I would get into alot of bad spots. I do love the racing idea, but will stick to the fun-runs for now. If I get a Scrambler someday, I'd try a few real races......it has the power to get out of most problems without needing to shift. ........and Wait4Me is TOO COOL of a moniker to lose!!!!!!!!!!!!
