I'll meet at Hy-Vee with ya Weck. I can't take you up on that $20 bet though, I need it to pay the entry fee. I followed Shezuki (and Ubn/Mojo) on a little trek through Sandy Oaks and that girl is crazy! She wasn't even on her own quad either! Plus I don't want to get shot.... Heck, being behind Shezuki isn't such a bad view now is it?!

I'll be there-unstudded. Went riding Sunday and didn't need any studs to make it up some pretty good hills. Just gotta know how to wiggle a little, right girls? See you all there!!!!

Popecreek's Frozen Toe open practice starts after 10:00 (if intrested) Bikes race at 12:00 Quads will race after bikes finish about 1:00ish After speaking to Soseman again today, he said there are only two classes, studded and non-studded. Sounds like there will not be a girls class, so you guys better watch out. (Mothership's been practicing! )

Popecreek's Frozen Toe Sounds like there will not be a girls class, Looks like your LUCK has ran out Weckinator!!! Now you will have to face the ***Pope Creek Ninja*** in heads-up racing. I brought some gear to help you along the way too................ Sorry, I couldn't afford a GPS for your quad so I hope this gear will suffice.

I had a less than stellar performance. Was riding ok till I was chasing another guy down a little straight section and got hung up in some deep snow and flipped doing 20+. The people that seen it said it was a pretty awesome get off. Its the first time in a long time I can remember checking myself over before worrying about the bike. I got a sore hip, swollen elbow and a good story for my trouble.
New steering stem is on the way tomorrow. I love EBAY!!!
Shad's wife Paula took a lot of good pics that we'll get up soon.
A good crop of trophies for the club members that raced.
The track was a great layout with the backside hill actually getting easier in the afternoon which is usually just the opposite.

It was a good layout, but I'll disagree on the backside hill, as it was harder for me and others who raced more than 2 laps.

I think only 4 people who weren't members got a trophy. About 10+ of us club members got trophies. The evil twin even sabotaged her sister's ride so the evil one would place.

Actually you wouldn't of had a problem with that backside hill UBN, had I not stopped all traffic on it on the last lap. Since Mojo does count 'no-shows' as a loss.........It was determined that ***MOTHERSHIP*** has won the Mother/Mojo best 2 out of 3 challenge!!!!!!!! Sorry Mojo. Rematches are common ya know.

In all fairness, I want to mention (since she probably wouldn't tell everyone) that Mothership raced the Pope Creek Race with a bent rear axle!! Her left rear tire was spinning around quite badly and had to cause some poor traction and a loose feel all the time. I remember watching her go up that hill (while I was stuck) on the last lap and as she floored it to get up, that tire was just "vibrating" in it's attempt to spin. Extra kudos to Mothership for running that crazy race with a "limp".
