I have a question that only you 2 wheel freaks (I mean that in a nice way) can probably answer. I guess there are new adjustable shocks for 4 wheel machines out now that look and act the same as those on racing quads with the little reservoir attached. What is the advantage of these over stock non-adjustable shocks?
I think a better question would be how do you adjust them and how would you know how far to go either way with them? I was thinking about buying a set for my Rincon when the price goes down, but I don't know if it would be worth it since I don't race or anything.

The advantage of after-market shocks is adjustability. You can adjust the spring rate by choosing various grades of spings, adjust the compression of the shock (how fast it will compress or go up), and rebound how fast it will go down. The stock shocks on your Honda are pre-load adjustable only. Post back here if you are not sure what to do with that.
After-market shocks for your Rincon are going to be pretty expensive, but then again you could surely swing that...
Your money would probably be better spent on some ITP holesot ATR tires.

Judging from the price of the shocks to fit my Rincon, I would be better off buying a used 400ex or some other sport quad. I think that' s in the near future anyway. I love my 4wd but I'm finding out the hard way it doesn't handle the way I want it to. I think I need something a little racier and lighter steering.
