Sounds like everyone had a great time ('cept maybe poor old Grizz). But Miz Grizz probably had twice as much fun, so I guess it evens out! I heard you all did a great job of "representin". Thanks from the rest of us who couldn't attend!

Yep, Illinois brought the fire and burnt the Iowa side again. I have to stay true to hoping Iowa would win, but had a little birdie on my shoulder rooting for Mothership. Farmer22, I did think that might have been you in front of me at the parade, but didn't want to falsely identify anybody. If you follow my posts, you know I am a huge fan of the Scrambler so yeah, your quad is sexy.....and will be even sexier when I own one!!!! hahahahahaha It was great riding with you both, and I can guarantee the kids along the route thank you ALOT! Grizzzz........don't worry buddy......that poor ol' Yamahahahaha will be better next time right? If you can't own a reliable quad, at least you did the next best thing....you bought her one to pull you home!!! AH HAHAHAHAHA I didn't mention Smokin' Joe and his Kawie because he has never used the term "Snailblazer"!!!! (Thanx again Xman) hahahahaha It was a great time though!! P.S. When I was telling Austin (who was way up near the front of our parade formation) about the amount of candy that Farmer22's girl was throwing....he swears there was nobody who could of been throwing more volume than FastCat!!! Was there a sugar-daddy leading us up there Mr. Cat???

Blah BLah BLah BLah !!!!!! Yes Port Bryon did win, I have to admit Iowa's Team this Year SUCKED!! I was trully embarssed on how our Teams pulled this year. I have never seen it that bad before, normally the score is pretty close. Congrats Port Bryon you will be defeated next Year! Good News Parts are on order for the Mojave Rebuild and they should be in Tuesday and then two Days at the Machinist hopefully I can be running this weekend. I can't wait to go out there and kick Mothership's Butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we had a great showing. I think this should be a regular event on the calender. Any seconds?

OHHHH, BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH EXCUSES, EXCUSES MOJO!!! They had 364 days to practice just like Port Byron did. I would think that if they knew Port Byron had practice sessions and tryouts, that they'd think maybe they should too-especially since this event gets so much attention-I would think they wouldn't want to be embarrased. We've obviously had our share of losses in the past-perhaps that's why we practice!
To be fair, LeClaire seems to have a nicer "festival" with their parade and rides for the kids. It seems to be better organized and more fun.
I bet they'll be motivated to practice more next year. We'll probably have a real fight on our hands! But for now, YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA! WE ARE THE CHAMP-IONS, WE ARE THE CHAMP IONS!!!

I second your "motion" Weck. I think it would be fun to do the parade again next year. I will volunteer to help organize it. I have a few ideas, like printing up some handouts for the crowd, just a half page with our vital info. I'd also like to have our riders practice a couple little choreographed ride moves (nothing fancy) just so we look like we took the time to try and look good for the crowd, not just ride in a straight line....We could have the King & Queen from our formal ride, a few riders from the Halloween ride, the winner of the quad raffle from 2006, a few of our racer/riders, a group of our kid riders, family groups. The crowd could see a little more of what our members enjoy.....
Whew, I'm tired now. Time for another nap. Night all!!

I do wish Leclaire would pratice more and get the hint from Port Bryon. I know Budweiser hat practices but I don't know about the other Teams. They better pratice next year after this really bad loss. I have always thought they should make the Teams equal the same weight opposed to number of Tuggers.
