What I've done recently:
Took the engine out of my nephew's YZ125. Split the cases to find a seized rod on the crankshaft. Going to take the YZ rear shock to QCQD for a rebuild.

Started tearing down the rear end to put a new axle in. Broke two socket wrenches with a prybar trying to get a castle nut off the end of the old axle. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.

This is a good thread... I just finished putting a motor in an 06 Honda 450R last night along with swing arm and axle bearings. The motor had a top end job done on it at Jackson Performance in Silvis. The last picture is my 450r as it sits right now. I had to cut out my swingarm bolt because it had seized in the bearing collars. It also destroyed the inside of the swingarm so I just got a different one off of ebay yesterday and it is all going back together this week and will be raced in Des Moines Sunday!!

Yes, that is his 06. His 08 is sitting in his garage with a bad crank according to Hawkeye. Its in pretty sad shape because it has donated a lot of parts throughout the season. Its up next for a rebuild...

So at the end of the day on sunday my brother decided to sink our Prairie 360. So today I finally got around to getting it running again. Looks like he just got a bunch of water in the exhaust. Nothing in the carb. Had to change the oil 3 times so far. Might put in another new oil filter. Just about ready to go. Thinking I should send him a bill for my time. Anyone know how much it cost an hours for a mechanic. ;D
