Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!! Annual Frozen Toe race at Tri-City MX track in Coal Valley? Registration at 9am, Rider meeting at 10:30am. Bikes start at 11am. Quads start at 1pm and race for an hour. Will Jamie "Weck" Weckel be much of a competitor this year for Eric "Jamiebnpast" Taflinger ? Come on out and you be the judge! Last year these rivals took 2nd and 3rd place. With the holeshot award going to Ubnpast between the two competitors. Who will carry the holeshot award this year? Who will get passed by the other? Who will get hung up on a log? Who will even show up? BE THERE! These bragging right last forever! The stain in your shorts may not!

Yes. The track was pretty much set up like last year with more MX this year. Bill A. and Henry were there to cheer us on. Amber, myself, Jamie, Dave and Josh Radcliff lined up side by side at the starting gate. There were 35+ total quads at the starting line. It was a running engine start. The green flag dropped and we were off!!! .........to be cont'd.

I'm still pretty sore from the race! Hopefully Eric don't hurt so much and he can still shovel all this snow we're getting.
Thanks Two Rivers for cheering for those of us who raced! It's so nice to have people shouting for you! Thanks!!!!

continued......... Rounding turn one, it was Josh Radcliff in second, Jamie Weckel third, me in forth and Dave Willey and Amber Shipman mid-pack. For the lap and a half Josh had a filming crew chasing him as Jamie and I were both sporting helmet cameras. Josh had a bobble in a tight section, and that allowed Jamie and I to pass. One lap later, as we exit the woods and enter the MX track I knew I needed to put the pressure on Weck. It's no secret that he doesn't like big jumps, so I thought that was my best chance to get around him. It took some time, but I was able to put a clean pass on him at the last set of jumps. A couple laps later, Dave Willey let me pass as I continued to run into tons of lap traffic. There were a few that made me work for it, but after some tire rubbing they got the hint. At the checkered, I was able to hold my position of 2nd overall with Jamie pulling out 3rd and Josh 4th. Amber came rolling in soon after. She was fairly upset! Not with how she finished, but her and Mr. Weckel had exchanged some paint. Apparently when he was lapping her, his quad slid into hers causing her to be ejected from her quad, while the quad went off track and down into the creek. All of this took place right in front of Jamie's mother, father and son too!! Not the sportsman like conduct you want to teach your young son. I think we all know who's going to get coal in his stocking next year! All in all, Amber took 2nd in the 400 class. She should have had 1st, but a whining old man claims she cut the course...which she did right behind him as he cut the course. Dave also placed, but I can't remember exactly. Thanks to the Radcliff clan who helped push my truck up the ice covered drive to Tri-City MX park. Thanks to Mr. Weckel for coming back and towing my truck to the top of that hill.

The thing with Jamie was a total accident and there is no hard feelings! Things happen. Jamie wasn't even aware of it incident until I told him about it. No big deal.

Your account of Amber and I making contact is a little mis-leading. I'm glad she corrected you.
