For the love of God, if you have a swing arm with a pivot bolt listen up!! ;D Unless you want to spend a bunch of time and energy along with throwing around a lot of cuss words I would keep reading. If you have a swing arm pivot bolt I would advise you remove it a couple times a year and coat it with anti-seize. I have spent quite a few hours trying to remove mine. My quad is a 2004 and I have never removed it before. Lesson learned. First I tried to remove the nut and back the bolt out. No luck. I put the nut on the bolt backwards so I could smack it with a 5lb sledge. Not moving. I put an impact on the bolt and got it to turn slowly. I had Amber run the impact while I beat on the other end with the sledge. Still no luck. Not wanting to heat it, I bought a sawz-all, numerous blades, a cut off wheel I have been able to get it removed. Of course I ended up cutting it into four pieces. Now I just have to get the old bearings pressed out and replaced. This should be the easy part compared to what I've dealt with so far. So, stop reading this, and go remove yours and USE ANTI-SEIZE and put it back together. Trust me! Attachments:

I believe mine will too. But I'm going to do them myself.

I just took my swing arm apart yesterday. I guess I got lucky. I hung the quad in the garage, took the nut off the swing arm bolt, smacked the bolt with a brass hammer and it came right out. Now I just gotta get some bearings.

I'm not sure what problem is worse mine came loose and I didn't notice it until after riding for who knows how long. I guess I'll find out if it caused any further damage when I pull it apart
