;D The race is just days away and I think I am ready, Not sure just yet. I think the weather will hold out and it should be just fine.. A little rain to days and lot of wind tomorrow and it will dry out nicely. If not we have another MUD race. I will be going up tonight to help the crew for a while and then take a 1/2 day off tomorrow to help them.. If the weather hold out this will be a premier event, thanks to all the work that Two Rivers has put into helping Kenny get this track cleaned out and ready to go.. Thanks to Two Rivers for all there continued support of Kenny and this race.... Hopefully it will be dry we don't need Turbo crying about a little mud again.. So till the 3rd of may fastcat will be outta here hope to see lots of familiar faces for the next couple days so till then................

First thing is I gotta Thank Kenny for letting us use his farm for this race and all that he does for the IATVHSS. Thank you Kenny. Well the race has come and went and what a race it was. Kinda doubtful the way the weekend started with a bunch of rain on Friday afternoon and into the night. Got up Saturday morning to sunshine a some windy conditions. By Saturday night when the UTV's were about to start there track was great, and where they crossed the creek was a spectators delight. The track crew did a excellent job on the racers track and even threw in some new stuff the go up, down, around and across to mix things up. GREAT JOB ANDY & CREW. We had a new racer join us this race, Amber conned her little sister Amy into racing and my hats of to them Amber took 1st place in the womens with Amy coming in 6th. Good job ladies. In the 26+ B-class had a lot of club members and Open Fly Teammates racing Turbo came in 2nd, Robfast 3rd, Ubie 5th and Jason Noble 6th. Way to go, I see some real challenges coming on this race season. 26+ C-class Reekers 529 and Z-Racer showed there riding skills with Ryan 7th and Randy 13th and it was huge class. The old timers class was again small just can't any of the old guys to come play, maybe later Fastcat had some issues with the Polaris again, but we have ordered some parts to hopefully take care of this problem, so till later Fastcat1 is Outta here. P.S. Thanks to all the Two Rivers Club members that helped at the gate and on the track, Thanks alot.............

Yep, Ditto on all that. Had a great weekend. There is now some new creative stuff out there to ride thanks to the great eyes of the IATVHSS track crew. The land held up great too.
Congrats on your win Amber!! You beat a couple girls that were in 2nd and 3rd that have been doing this for a long time... Amy some of your "one liner's" are the best. Nice job getting wood on your first Iowa Race.
I had a really good race and ET was nice enough to record a lot of it via his helmet cam...:-)
This is probably one of the biggest races I have been too with 21 UTV's Saturday night and about 240 quads, including kids on Sunday. Over 600 people through the gate too.
Thanks for a great weekend Kenny!!!

Super Weekend!! Kenny really caters to these guys! Thanks Kenny for all that you do! Thanks to all the club members who ran the gate and put in the long hours needed to make this whole thing a success! The Mosley cheeseburgers were great! Congrats to Amber!! You did great honey! You're my lil champ!! Amy lasted longer than I thought with all the rough stuff out there. Pretty awesome for someone who was talking about being scared at the starting line! It was pretty sweet to be trail riding with my buddy Weck running 1st and 2nd for most of the race. Not many people have seen the rear end of his quad, but I managed to follow him while recording with the helmet cam. I intentionally followed him so he and I could rewind the "game tape" and review his riding techniques. All in all, it was an excellent day, excellent track, excellent racing and I'm sore as hell.

I gotta thank Kenny and the rest of the Two Rivers crew for everything ya'll did. Although its a bit of a drive I love going to Spragueville, everyone is really friendly and I love eating in town!!! The Hansen Hollows farm is really neat area too.
My race started off being 3rd from last off of the line. Then about a mile into the race I got stuck in a bottle neck throwing my chain, rolling back down the hill and getting wedged against a tree. I then realized I also had a flat front tire. By the time I got back on the track half of the AM classes were already past me. I rode the first lap on the flat. I got pitted and got a new tire put on with the help from our good friends from Missouri. I then rode like there was no tomorrow to end up in 9th out of 19. I know I rode hard because I am very, very, very sore right now, haha!!!

Thanks everyone for the congratulations! It was a fun race and would like to thank everyone who helped out with running the gate, to cheering us on, to cooking the food! Also, I'm so proud of Amy for trying the race thing! We may have created a monster, she has already been asking when the next race is...
