I use my eyeballs, carb upside down float level, bent arm at needle if off.

Trust me, you can't eyeball these carbs. Things are givin me fits. I think I figured it out. There's a lot of illustrations on the web but no videos worth looking at. Next question: I bled the brakes and tried to bleed the clutch but it won't build pressure while trying to pump the lever. Maybe slave cylinder bad?? It did puke some dirty fluid back into the master cylinder and every once in awhile it will blow air when I turn the bleed screw at the slave cylinder. Maybe a blockage?

Rook, Please don't take this as a truck stop reference but you need to suck it!! Attach a CLEAR vaccuum hose to the bleeder screw on the motor and then open it while squeezing the clutch lever and sucking on the hose with your pie hole all at the same time. Then repeat until you are getting no bubbles out of the line. You will want to use about 8 feet of hose. Stop sucking on it prior to the brake fluid getting to your mouth... Or go buy a hand pump brake bleeder from an auto parts store.
