#7 the final race for the 2009 season. Open Fly Racing will be there in full force to finish out the year. There are some points battles going on in the classes that should be quite interesting. In the +30 Turbo will need to finish top 5 to hold onto 4th place for the year. Z-Racer needs to finish top 10 to stay in top 10 in the C-26+ class. In the B-class we got Robfast338,Josh Radcliff, ta2d and a truck load of others trying to make top 10 for the year, ta2d is setting in 11th right now and if he can get rid of the gremlins he should be able to pull it off, and robfast should be safe in the top 10. Fastcat1 will hold down the 2nd spot in the +50 class for the year, had issues with mechanical problems off and on all year long want to finish up strong and get everything ready for the winter. carlise is an awesome track, Its where we had the 10hr race and most everybody loves the track, from the looks of the weather it could be a little wet and muddy. But that part of racing i guess we started out the year in mud, guess we can finish it that way to. So till the race is done, Fastcat1 is outa here..................

The race has come and gone and what a day it was. Going over on sat. it was snowing like the devil, and I thought here we go, cold, snowy and just plain nasty. But to my surprise the weather turned around and it was a little cold on Sunday but the track was awesome..... Open Fly Racing was there with Turbo, Fastcat1, Z-Racer, Robfast338, and one of the Reekers. Everybody raced at the same time so at 11:00 AM there was 160 ATV's on the line waiting to go. In the +30 class Turbo got the hole shot and finished 6th for the day which held him in the 4th seat for the year. Z-Racer finished9th in the C-26+ class to maintain a top 10 rating for the year. Rob fast in the B class finished 11th with a broken wrist to maintain a top 10 for the year and ta2d lost his gremlins and came in 7th in class and I think stayed in the top 10. Fastcat1 has had problems it seems like all year. #1 lost a clutch, #3 broke a Nerf and foot peg off, #6 had a water leaking problem, and last but not least #7 tires don't hold air with no valve stem. So the 09' season was not the best for me, But I am ready for next year. I still have 2nd in class and look forward to the next season to see if I can move back up. It was a pleasure to race and ride with everyone, So till next time Fastcat1 is Outta Here............................... Want to thank everybody that helped Open Fly Racing in there quest for racing greatness ( okay so it didn't happen ) But fun was had by all...... ;D ;D

Yep, it was a great year. I did a little better than expected. Luckily no mechanical troubles on the Quad City Quad Doctor / CPR Poswersports sponsored Honda 450Rrrr.
If I get off my butt and get in a little better shape for next year I should be able to improve on this year. But just as a disclaimer incase somebody digs up this thread a year from now, I expect some pretty fast guys to move into the Vet class for 2010...We will see...

Yep things went pretty good for me. I got a good start, the bike held together and ran good all day. I probably could've done better but got to riding a little sloppy at times and that cost me, just ask Turbo he saw some of it, haha. With my 7th place finish it put me in the 10th spot for season ending points. I am very pleased with that since I had a horrible season and 3 of those races were 1 pt. races. Anyways it was fun and look forward to seeing ya'll and drinking coldies at the banquet!!!
