Well in about in about 5 day's will be back on the track at Indianola, Iowa for the the 4th race of the series at "The Farm". This track has motor cross and woods riding both. Its great for the spectators for they can see almost all the motor-cross track and some of the woods sections. Its been muddy almost every time I've raced there I am hoping for cool weather and slightly damp. It would be awesome to have no dust and great temperatures for once this year.... I know Open Fly Racing will be there in full force and hopefully make a good showing. There are some close points races going on between some of our race team members. So till the checker flag wave hope to see some there at the line..................Fastcat1 outta here............

The Race is in the History books, Great weather, Great Track and some of the best darn people around..Open Fly Racing was there in great form only to be bested by problems thruout. In the AM classes it was the electrical gremlins that slowed down the Z-Racer and he came in 11th in the C-26+ class, right behind him with a bent tie-rod was Ryan in 12th. Fastcat1 came in 2nd for the 4th straight race this season just can't seem to make it to the top. (still got 3 races to make it) Mike and Josh were missing in Action from the team. In the PM Classes Turbo came in 7th in the +30 class With Robfast 338 coming off the line last and moving clear up to 3rd only to find a tree and dropped to 5th. All of Open Fly did a real good job..... Another forum user/racer ta2d had electrical gremlins also having a to settle in the top 10. I don't know whats up with these KFX450's. Fastcat does know now that that KTM Powered Polaris has plenty of pep when I accidentally opened the throttle to much it will move right on down the track. it was a learning experience to race the new bike and I am sure I will like it once I understand it.. So till next time Enjoy your ride and will see you soon............Fastcat1 Outta Here...

Indianola was really fun this year with perfect weather. My fitness motivation has been struggling this year but I am planning to get back in gear this month. I need to move up a few spots.

Man I thought I had things taken care of but I guess not. I was running real good and battling in the top 5 when my gremlins came out a little over half way through the race. I was happy to salvage a top 10 spot. It is hard to figure out the problem because it doesn't start until a little over an hr into the race. We are going to tear open the top end and check the valves. My pipe also came off on the last lap and my right ear is still ringing.

www.honda.comSeriously though, you have been riding real well this year. These quad problems have got to suck. Stupid question but is your radiator totally clean. Did you tell me you put an aftermarket rad in?

Yeah I have been feeling pretty good this season except for the bike issues. I am getting pretty bummed out and is hard to handle when you are running your butt off in the top 5 then it starts running bad and fall back. I did put a new Fluidyne radiator in and that wasn't the culprit. We now have my engine tore down and replacing the rings and gaskets. We think that might be the problem, well hopefully. They were pretty smoked.
