#7 Wow, where has the season gone.... This is the final round of the IATVHSS for the season points. And there are some tight races going on for the top spot. The most Important one is Between Turbo and Robfast in the C+ class. They are both teammates of "Open Fly Racing" and theres a scant 2 points between them. They are both deserving of the Crown of being #1 so good luck to each (treeing bids accepted). Josh Radcliff is currently in the top 10 in class also, with a good finish he could move up a couple of spots easily. "The Farm" has always been the 1st race of the year so its kinda different to finish out the season here. But the track is awesome and has a motor cross track in the middle of it. This is probably the best spectator spot of the whole track mainly because XC racers don't like MX (right Turbo) I think it will be a great race and hope to see some other make it this one. Ubbie this is where you got your 2nd place last year, why not come and see if last year was a fluke or you just got lucky? Shezuki maybe give it one more try, you was a mere 2 minutes from making podium, how bout another shot at it? All the regulars should be there, fastcat1, Turbo, Jason Noble, Z-Racer, Josh Radcliff, Robfast, ta2d and a crape load of regulars. So till we hear Hands on Helments Fastcat1 is outta here...............

The race has came and gone, and was not a disappointment to anyone. As out of the ordinary as it might get "The Farm" was dry, no mud ( well a little bit in the back ) the weather was great low 70's and cloudy so it was cool at race time. Josh Radcliff was there and ran fine, Sorry Josh didn't catch how you finished. Jason Noble in 1st year racer class finished 6th, so he made top 10 in the series for his class, Fastcat1 and Jake rode around for a couple hours and had fun. But the best finish of the race was between Turbo & Robfast they both passed Fastcat1 with less than 500 yard to the finish line and they were racing for the title Rob fast made it to the checkered flag a scant 3 seconds before Turbo in 4th place with the Turbo coming in in 5th. Now when you set down and add up all the points and do the adding, subtracting, dividing and laying it out. They are tied in points. As of now with out seeing the final results its a tie... But I am proud of Open Fly Racing and the showing we made this year. Now to get the Kitty ready for the Heartland Challenge, Then we will take a couple weeks off to get some honey do list finished up.. And start making plans for the '09 season.. Would like to Thank Quad City Quad Doctor for all his support and great suspension work for all of Open Fly Racing, It makes a big difference on some of these tracks. So till later Fastcat1 is Outta Here.............

Rob and Turbo had a heck of a season and both rode their butts off. Congrats to both of them. Also congrats to Josh and Jason on finishing their first season in the series, glad to have you guys with us. As for me I had another bad day. The track was very rough and my suspension was set up too soft for it. I got beat up pretty good and ended up in the 12th spot. I also came in a tie, but for the 10th spot in the B class series points. If I read the rules correctly and my calculations are right I should get the 10th spot due to consistency. Meaning somewhere in the series this season I got a better finish than the other rider with a 6th place at Mt. Pleasant to his season best 7th place. Be looking forward to seeing team Open Fly Racing at the 10 hr. Until then keep it rubber side down.

Yep had another good race and season. Very consistant this year lap after lap. My only crash was at Spraguville and that was a nice soft landing in the sand. The only parts broke this year was one hand guard and a frame skid plate. I raced the entire series on the same set of tie rods and grips so from that perspective it was a pretty cheap year for me. Which is good cause this 450r motor is being sent to QCQD for a little secret some some after the Heartland. I'm a little bummed about the tie for 1st. Robbie wins the tie breaker with more wins this year but that is okay. I am just as satisfied with my consistant and injury free season regardless of year end place. So its up to the 3rd line for the big show next year. I'll most likely ride +30 next year because I am very scared of a couple mean guys in B mostly TA2D...:-> PM me about videos or I'll just send you a Krispy Kreme gift certificate. Thanks to the Open Fly Race Team, even the part timers, its a great group of guys that make racing and the wait in between that much more fun... Looking forward to bigger and better things next year. Thanks to the few sponsors that helped me out this year: Quad City Quad Doctor www.qcquaddoctor.com - The revalved resprung shocks and link worked awesome this year. They really help with control and consistancy especially in the last hour. Thanks for the great deals on all the rest of my parts and equipment as well. Sponsored rider or not, if you would like to talk to a guy that knows the performance parts that he sells and personally rides with or tests them himself call Mark at QCQD. If you want the same motor work that goes into National XC Pro level quads or talk about the same level of suspension work give him a call. B&B Heating Moline IL 309-230-4183 - Thanks for the riding gear and petroleom assistance program. Hooters & Kelly's Irish Pub Davenport IA - For developing and maintaining the Open Fly nutrional diet program.

Even though I only raced 4 races this year, and wasn't in no points chase, I had a blast. Fastcat and Weck had been hounding me to give this series a try, and i am glad I did. This series is awesome, the tracks are fun, the people overall are all very nice, and usually are willing to help each other out. This year it seemed liked I battled injury, after injury, but that's part of the racing world. I would like to battle for a points championship next year, but not sure what class yet, if my body allows me to. I would like to thank my teammate's Open fly racing for helping me out this year, and keeping it fun. I would also like to thank are main sponsor, QC Quad doctor, for the parts you supplied me, and knowledge about racing. So now it's the off season, in which I will spend alot of the winter hrs in the gym training my butt off. I wish Open fly racing the best in the heartland challenge race. Make it out alive
