Just a reminder that Popecreek is having a United Off Road Racing event this Sunday the 24th. It's $25.00 for the Popecreek entry and $10.00 for a one day membership for a United Off Road Racing pass.
Popecreek was a great close park to ride when it was open. So if you guys miss it as much as I do, come out and race it, because that's the only time we can ride there now.
Hope to see some of you there!

Well, I did more than just spectating. I decided to race "B" class and finished in 3rd place. And before you ask, no there was not only 3 people in that class. I should have had 2nd, but let a guy past me on the last lap who I thought was in another class. I only let him past because I was tired from riding at Wil Ruffcorn all day the day before and didn't want him pushing me. Oh well, I still got 3rd place and that's nothing to complain about!!!

Popecreek had the longest, best loop set up for this race in the past 12 years. I made a good pass after the start for 3rd. I was having fun, hanging with the two regular A classers. 2nd slid around in the mud, and I passed him to capture his spot. A 1/2 lap later, I let him by. Another half lap and I was turned into a spectator with a bent tie rod, rim, and blown tire. ....and I still managed to get 5th in my class! And thanks to The Quad City Quad Doctor for his assistance and helping me get my quad out of the woods! You didn't have to help!

Congrats to everybody..... I didn't know so many of you all wanted to race, Sept 7th at Mt Pleasant will be the next IATVHSS. If you want to see something awesome there will probably be between 160 and 200 Quads on the starting line, and there is a class for everyone, So come on down.......

I agree with Ubnpast - it was an awesome layout for the race! I think everyone had a blast - especially the one's who finished! (sorry Eric!) It just proves, it doesn't matter how good you are - there's a lot of luck involved.
I made 4 laps (plus a practice lap) and was EXHAUSTED when it was over, but it was worth it! Slept with a heating pad and ice packs for 2 nights, but it was STILL worth it! It sure was a lot of fun, even if you're just trying to stay ahead of a 10 year old so you don't come in LAST! hahaha
