They have lifted the rider's network requirement. I have it second hand that If you have already paid, you will get a free ride day for compensation. Went riding there today and will post a review.

Sweet! I think I would go there now that it is cheaper! What does it cost to get in now?

I guess it would be registration + admission. 28 for an Iowa res first ride, 17 after that.
I am going soon so I will be able to confirm this.

I hope the info turns out to be accurate! That would deduct $20 PER rider on the initial visit, which would be a great savings for a family who would like to try it out. Please let us know if it is true. Thanx

I was there and paid $17 whereas I already had a DNR sticker. Had I not, I would have had to pay additional $11. DNR sticker is $18 for out of state. There was no riders network fee.

Great news and thanks for the confirmation LetsRolll!!! Maybe I'll start talking to the family about Atkinson. $60 savings (3 riders) is a big improvement.

As i posted in another topic .......I received in the mail yesterday a Network Riders membership card and materials. I did not pay the fee so I must assume that is all being handled and paid for by the park now? Not sure what the future status is going to be but the card indicates membership is paid through Nov 2008

Wow that is wierd, at last months meeting Weck talked about how they got rid of it because it wasn't orginally what they thought it would be.

The wife got one and two other people also got network membership packages. We all went the same day I think it was the 21st of October.

/\ From what I have heard through the Grapevine is that Tom wants nothing to do with this club anymore. I can't say that I blame him because a certain club member out there bashes every park around and I know he has read the posts on here. I was shocked when Grizz said we are getting a discount but for some reason I don't belive it.

I am pleased to have the Rider Fee gone as that is a big savings all by itself. The entry fee of $17 isn't much different than $14 so either of those would be a decent price. Hopefully I can get the family over there in the near future.
