Jason Shedder and I raced and had a good time. He had a goggle malfunction and since he wears glasses did not want to continue and tear those up.
I was able to put my QC Quad Doctor 450R on top of the box in the open class. Ya no kidding!!
Took the holeshot and lead two laps, then let a Z400 by and chased him the rest of the day. The course was a little dis-appointing because it was a lot shorter than what they could have had out there. It ended up being a pretty wet track but not too muddy. Perfect conditions really. I finished 2nd overall and 1st in the 401cc+ class. Probably 40 quads total and about half 450's. One blaster with about 200 1 inch bolts mounted from the inside out per tire. It was pretty brutal looking.
I'll get a couple pictures up later today.

You won your class Weck?! Dannnnngggg.....nice job! ;D I guess next year's Tri-City Frozen Toe will be the Weckinator/Shredder rubber match! (Even though you two would be in different classes if they keep this years breakdown) I am sure Xman will have something to say about a Z400 winning 1st overall...... hahaha Hey Shredder......next time let me know you need some extra goggles!!!! I wear glasses too so I have a couple pairs you can borrow anytime !!! Great win Weck! Now that you have been racing the 450R awhile, what are your feelings about it compared to your big Raptor? Pro/cons?

I put to much hp in the Raptor so that combined with top heavy handling it was not the hot ticket for woods racing. The 450R feels a lot lighter and responds to body position a lot better. From 3000rpm and up the Honda is every bit as powerful as my Yamaha was. My shocks are at QCQD this week getting the full GT Thunder treatment along with some other secret stuff...
