Race #4 is coming up on July 8th at Waukon, Iowa which is in the northeastern part of Iowa. I think that Justin Willey will be back on leave from the service and will race this one. Looking forward to this race its the longest track we race on and everybody will leave at the same time. At this time we have Jamie "Turbo" Weck in the C +26 class Randy "Z-Racer" in the +40 class, Fastcat1 +50 class, Justin "suzy400" in the young C class, David Moline in the + 30 class, and hope to get some more to go and participate. I know this is the same weekend as the BADLANDS so go ride and or race one or the other. Would like to see Josh and Everett show up to this race after problems at Indianola don't want to see you loose faith. I know UBN probably won't make it but ubie your still in 10th overall, Come and prove to me it wasn't a mistake you came in 2nd at the first one. would like to see the "Tator" at this one Sad to say but this might be the last race we have up there unless we can generate some more racers. So till Later Fastcat1 Out.

Clutch Kick Gas Clutch Kick Gas!!!! To help out my fellow racer and 450R friend....... I found it best to stand up, get her primed to the power stroke, then when the board drops, kick as I was reaching for the Hot start and clutch. Hope that helps.

That's about what I thought. I was gonna try a few with and without the hot start. I know I'll be moving as soon as I see the starter flinch just a little. That's a trick I learned from Speedfinger Willey.
I was surprised how easy on gas this 450 is. I was not concerned about making it the full 2 hrs before, but I only used about a gallon at Ruffcorn. The twin carb Rappy would have sucked down twice as much.

Nope. I'm officially out for this race. I'm off to the BADLANDS when it isn't so cold. One day I will make an appearance again to show you that it wasn't a fluke. I am looking more towards the Mt. Pleasant, Montazuma races. That's pretty cool about being in 10th. I will keep shooting for Top 5 in the next 2 races.

UBN you have to make at least 4 races to be counted in the points. You can still make the last 3 and maybe finish in the top 7.

#4 has come and gone, To say the least it was HOT, DUSTY, and rougher than Hades. Track was about 12 miles long and lots of rocks and tight woods with some way off camber stuff. Just about beat me to death, but we hung on for the 2hour limit, ended up being about 2 and 1/2 hours by the time I finished that last lap took its toll. Jamie and myself plus member David Moline gave the club a good showing, David Moline finished in the top 5 I think, Turbo came in 6th in his class and I went home with a 1st. It was good to get home at a decent hour from this race, so till #5 Fastcat1 Out

Great job fellas!! Turbo, the deal is Top 5 gets you some beverage. Too bad you couldn't hold that guy off, or you would have had it! Glad to see you did better than mid pack with a small showing of competitors. Keep up the good work!
