I will be in attendance. Not looking forward to the mud, but I'll have to cope. More than likely, you'll get to keep that envelope......but weirder things have happened. I'll be happy to finish a few places above a DNF.

Good luck in the mud bog... I mean race... go fast, be safe, and sling some mud! I'll be expecting an update first thing Monday morning, who finished where, and all the mud covered details.

UBNPAST did pull an impressive 2nd place B-class finish out of his a$$. I finished 8th officially in C+26. This is the 3rd time I have been bumped back one spot when in the top 10 so not sure whats up with that. The mud for the morning race was gnarley to say the least. After just half a lap I was covered with about an inch of mud on my clothes and at least that much on the bike. It was 4 - 5 inches deep on the nerfs. Radiator was plugged completely etc. I just picked up some new Razr2's before the race and they dug in awesome. I blew the front left tire off the bead with about a half lap to go. Had to muscle the thing to the checkers. It would turn left ok but would barely go right at all. We'll have some pics posted soon. Ubn, I did'nt notice the lettering on the number plates yesterday. that's pretty cool. There should be no doubt what number you are!!!

Although some had some mechanical troubles, it sounds like those who were able to race had a pretty good showing! ;D ;D Ubn, I was starting to worry about your pre-race posts as you we very reluctant to show any confidence and that is SO not you! I was hoping you would get in the mud and let those blues fall off. It sounds like you did just that and I am "stoked" to hear you kicked some tail!!! Now shuck those negative feelings and get your "game-on" attitude back brother!!!! Weck, I was SO hoping you would get to race without an accident. They have plagued you lately and had to be shaking your confidence. Again, VERY HAPPY to hear you put it out there and brought it all the way to the finish line!!!!!!!!!!! This is the new start of your 2007 season. Great job on bringing home that limpin' Yammie. (I hope you didn't get that new seat cover all crappy!!!) I have to admit, I know very little about FastCat's rep on the dirt......but I do know he's a vet with a HareScramble Title already sitting on his mantle! I guess I just expect him to be a top contender for that alone....but add the crafty years of experience and quiet confidence he exudes, and you just know he is going to be a problem for the rest of the racers. I guess I am trying to say that I was VERY pleased to hear about the outcome of those who did get to enter on race day. For the ones who had troubles, it is so cool that you were there willing to put it on the line, and we all know it will be different on the next go-round!!! Glad to see everyone back and I can't wait for the PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*bowing* Thank you, Thank you. I am pretty excited about managing to get 2nd place in my class. Also ended up 14th overall. By turn one I was around 7-8th out of 31. The first place kid (17 y/o) and I traded spots back and forth at least 6 times. The whole time I didn't even know where I was in my class. By the numbers I passed I figured top 5, but in reality I was actually leading a few different times. And to think I let the kid by because I figured he was trying to hunt down the 1st place guy. HAHA Oh well, that made it fun. I took today off because I'm a big sissy and I ache all over. 2hrs of giving it all I had wore me down. I would like to thank my co-pilot and lady crew cheif, Shezuki! She made sure I had clean goggles to complete more laps. Thank you! Jamie had a hell of a good start, seemed to pull his own throughout the race. That mud must have sucked, as it lowered his quad an additional 2 inches. Congrats to WECK for a good finish!! (editors note: no logs were crossed in this course) I only got to see how Fastcat did as I lapped him. But he was out there in the trenches with the rest of us doing what he loves. Good job on the finish you old timer. You're still fast for a man your age!
