Owners manual?!?!? Heck, there is a PICTURE and WARNING right on the fender of every quad that says No passengers. Maybe Ubn's is missing those so he could fit the racing decals on? It may not be Ubn's fault though.....I can't be certain, but he may have been trying to get away as Sheraptor ran over to his quad, and by the time he got it in gear and popped the clutch, she was on ....which caused the resulting wheelie. Either way, it was cool ......and illegal in some parks. hahaha

sheraptor was ruled at fault for causing the wheelie. ubnpast was ruled innocent and that the wheelie was a result of him trying to get away from sheraptor!!!

Good excuse. Just admit that you can't ride! Don't blame it on some bad food or something like that!
I'll give you some credit, you hung in there better than I thought you might today........for a kid.

i had a blast today right up until i broke down.. i think since i am missing the chain guard bolts and that the chain cover is not bent or broke, that the bolts vibrated lose. i think somewhere i might of bent the sprocket, and chain which when climbing that hill it broke on me.. i really appreciate everyone's immediate help on making sure i got loaded up.. mothership can be thankful that i broke and i didn't pull her into a nice cold waterhole i plan on going to the cliffs though... ;D

I'm sure EVERYONE is dying to know who won the challenge between Mothership and Mojaveleclaire yesterday!
Well, after warming up with other riders first, we finally headed out, following Sheraptor. We were tearing up the trails pretty good, checking out each other's skill level, which seemed to be pretty evenly matched. We were having a blast and then came up to a muddy little creek crossing, so we all stopped to contemplate the odds of making it through. Mojave looked at Amber and said "I think you can make it!" So, she gave it all she had and made it with no problem. Mojave went next, and ALMOST made it. He had to work at it a little, but finally got up the bank also. I'm sitting there thinking my odds are now 50-50, but I spot the perfect line and go for it, making it up with no problem, ending up right beside Mojave, I couldn't resist a big "HA!" in his face, and we all laughed. Then I admitted I went over where there was a little more grass, and he accused me of cheating, and I reminded him that I didn't get to be this OLD without learning a few tricks! We laughed again and took off again like crazed quad riders do. Then we got to some really challenging hills and off-cambers (and a few little screams on my part) but we were having a blast. Last thing I remember was following Sheraptor up a pretty steep hill with tree roots everywhere, but I made it up with no problem. I looked back for Mojave and waited...and waited. Finally went back to see what was going on and saw him backing down the hill. I guess his chain broke BAD, broke a tooth on the sprocket. He was done for the day and had to be towed back to the truck. I felt REAL bad that his day was over before noon, but, I am still claiming V-I-C-T-O-R-Y for our first match! So, age, skill, and possibly a little cheating and luck, won the day!!!
I'm sure he'll want a re-match!

Mothership, Have you ever seen the movie Cars? You Kinda describe the seen when Doc (Mothership) and Lightning (Mojave) raced. Instead of Lightning (Mojave) loosing control and running into the cactus patch , his chain broke. Cachow!

No, I haven't seen "Cars". Tried to open your image box and couldn't, darn it! But it sounds fun! Well, not for Lightning I guess. Oh, well, we will race again!

My mojave didn't make it through the day, due to me losing a bolt, and breaking my chain and bending the sprocket.. i plan on having this fixed by time for the cliffs where i will challenge mothership again, unless she is too chicken to show up.. how did the rest of the day for you guys go? any other breakdowns, big wrecks, etc??? what did i miss?

My machine gained about 40 pounds with all the mud flinging up from the trail. Other than that, I think I'll live to ride another day! Guess I'll be be doing some extensive cleaning & preventative maintenance in preperation for next Sunday... I also have to admit that I witnessed it first hand! Adam was out on the trails, away from his keyboard & he was actually doing a decent job of riding on his EX. I always figured the air box would have been full of dust & cobwebs by now. We couldn't coax him over to Insane Terrain, but there'll be other rides.
