Hey, just a report on the ride to Waterloo. We had a great time! I think there were about 10 or 12 from our club. The weather was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! It was a perfect fall day, with sun and soft breezes and leaves falling like big orange and yellow snowflakes. I had only been there once before and thought it was a little "too flat" for my liking, but after going to Mount Astoria a few weeks ago and being scared to death, it was kinda nice to just breeze through all the nice wide trails. Parts of it were as smooth as a city street and I caught myself day-dreaming and enjoying the scenery instead of concentrating on every rut and tree root etc. like we usually do. Oooh! I also did my very first stoppie! At first I thought it was called "oh schmidt! I almost went end over end", but Kevin said it's a really cool move called a stoppie! (whew, for a minute there I was scared) Speaking of Schmidt's, we got to ride with their group several times. They seemed to find more mud than we did, but they seemed to enjoy it! We got to check out Krazy Kevin's new "Outlaw"--wow is all I can say. It's just awesome looking, and he seemed to really like the way it handled. Buddy got busted by DNR for not having a current registration, so he had to make a quick trip to WalMart. I drank my first bee and got stung in the throat--not cool. It only hurt for a little while but I keep hearing a strange buzzing when I'm trying to go to sleep.....Amber was our designated driver for the trip home (Buddy & Kevin can't see, and me with a bee in my bonnet). We missed our first exit and were in Dubuque before we stopped talking for a nano-second and realized we weren't anywhere near Cedar Rapids. It took us almost twice as long to get home as it did to get to Waterloo. Sheraptor may be pretty fast on the trails, but she didn't exactly pick the quick line on the way home! ha ha (LOL Amber!)

A stoppie? Where are the pics? Were you scared? Did you mean to do it? Sounds like a fun filled, crazy day.

Nope, no evidence - I mean pics. Nope, no time to be scared, I was busy peeing my pants. Heck no, I didn't mean to do it! I guess I'm just a natural born accident waiting to happen. Yep, it was fun and crazy-surprised the Schmidt out of me!
