I'd like to tell you how, but that's up to our Commander-In-Chief, Kevin V.
The problem is, (as I hear it) the "Dream Teamers" are losing members in pairs. Over at the the "A-Team" encampment we have the NO VACANCY sign flashing outside. Go figure...

That sign will probably be turned off right around Thursday morning.

Half the A-Team is locked, loaded, and ready to go, final preperations are being made tonight and come Tuesday night we'll be on our merry way. Securely fastened down inside our transport lies a very secret weapon...so secret only half the A-Team knows about it. This weapon will definately give the A-Team a strong advantage in a couple departments. To give you Dreamers a clue this super secret weapon will have all of you eating out of the palm of our hands ATC everyone in the Dunes X-man

On the PLUS SIDE!!! ;D With all the deserters over there on the "Dream Team" they can have a designated "crying room". They'll need it when they go back to the barracks after a long, hard day of eating sand. Medic!!! Over here! Sounds like a "Dream Team" battle cry...

Somebody must have bought either a piped Banshee or LT500 if there's gonna be any surprises.
Doc, besides XMan, you have been toot'n your horn the loudest so I hope that R is pretty well tuned up. I know you can kinda ride an EX but I think all your gonna see when we get in the twisty's is a bunch of multi-colored flags off in the distance.
PS X, the Dream Team has something up their sleeve too......

Well Weck your way off, this is a weapon of a different type, you'll just have to wait and see ;D As for the tooting of my own horn, I'm all done for now, as you said yourself "its time to put up or shutup" and I plan to put up the best I have. I've put on my game face and am ready to storm the sandy beaches. Cuz D-Day (as in dune) is almost upon us!

The Duel in the Desert is over and in all honesty it was probably a draw. Some might find that debatable but here's how I seen it. About the only official drag racing that I seen was won by the Fast Cat "Big Horn Edition" however I don't think the 2 700 Raptors were in that one, but there sure was a 250r. A-Team gets the nod in the wheelie department. Nate should probably remove the front wheels on his quad they rarely do anything anyway. A-Teamer Krazy Kevin landed the knarliest jump that I seen a club member do all week. This was a 4th gear pinned leap off a 30 footer landing 40 feet later on the down hill side. All caught on tape I might add. Weck and Sheraptor pissed off the most snakes found on the trail. Fast Cat spent the most time on reserve of anyone. Xman does have a sweet three fitty X, and yes he can ride. He also wins the Honda poster child award. Z-Racer skipped across the most water. Fat Lime Cat edged out Handsome Henry for longest amount of time spent lost at night in the dunes. I found out that to get the best of Fast Cat all you have to do is cruise the ridge of an 80 footer when its black as night and you can't see sh!t on the side of you. Capt Rod knows how to party. Uncle Bob, Paul, and the X-man crew are probably the best male cooks in the group, and the hungriest too. Squatch (Corey Finch) is fair at wheelies and pretty fast too. I did figure out why he likes that V-Force though. Its because that auto tranny sounds like a turbo deisel riding down the dunes. Mrs. Squatch tried to add 10 pounds to each of the Dream Teamers with her snack making skills. Who's team was she on anyway. Sheraptor and her form fitting riding gear earned her a wicked sand rail ride. Wish that would work for the rest of us. And yours truely won most time with quad on injured reserve. The clock is still ticking on that one. Lil Weck Out

The battle is over and both the Dreamers and A-Teamers won in respective areas. Here are some of the results as I see them. A-Team Victories:Best Manufactuer Representation - X-man Most Well Fed - A-Team Craziest Wheelies - Nate Least Smelly House - A-Team Craziest Jump - Krazy Kevin Dream Team VictoriesBest Crash - Corey Longest Trailer Time - Wecks Raptor Best Team Representation - Dream Team Best Hole Digger - Fascat Best Water Skipping - Z-Racer Best First Night Partier - Weck There's tons more but everyone gets the point. When it came to who had the most fun I think it's safe to say the two teams united and we all had a great time!

There was a 250R present, but it wasn't giving out a strong effort . I'm sure the X-man crew can attest to the frustrating amount of time I spent trying to tweak that tempermental 2-stroke . 700 feet of elevation change & the temperature/humidity changes made it into just a decent trail machine . None of that matters because on race day, there can be only one . Unfortunately for all the smack talk put up front, it wasn't me ! From the driver's seat, all I remember seeing in front of me was sand whoops coming up quick & the tailight of a very quick White & Blue Z-400 . Congrats to the Z-Racer . I don't know who won overall, but I do know who I didn't pass !!!

uh-oh. sounds like there is going to be a new team.
TEAM Q-DOC sounds pretty confident that he wasn't passed.
The only way that can be is maybe he doesn't know he's not the guy on the orange bombardier.
Just kidding. I thought somebody should try to get the smack talking back.

Well Cap'n, Now that you mention it.
I don't remember "being passed" by anyone.
I just remember not being out in front. I think I was following that white Z from the drop of the flag all the way to the end.
Speaking of the drag races, What happened to the A-Team's shiny new pair of 700's during that face-off? You know what they say, "There's no Replacement for Displacement".
