Hello All, I was able to negotiate a hall pass for this coming Friday 11/25 to ride somewhere. I'd like to stay relatively close to home, 90 minutes or less. Who wants to go take a ride on that Friday? - Popecreek - The Cliffs / Insane Terrain - Some place called 3 Caves riding park in Ottawa IL - I'm down with VPP - Fast Cat's Front yard around the tulips - Solon IA Post here if interested. Times of day are flexible for me.

The Schmidt girls are shopping so I'm definatly interested in riding Friday, otherwise I'll have to clean gutters or rake leaves.
We have a group of Jackson County riders going to Solon Saturday the 26th, meeting there at 10 AM, come on out if you want.
I'm working with several local famers who will allow us to ride their property as soon as they are COMPLETELY assured there is no way of getting sued if someone gets hurt.
Speaking of riding farms, Kenny Hansen talked about having a ride at his place again, I'll call him if someone has his phone number.

I found Kenny's phone number, he was working on a new trail by the river when I called him! He said "yes, come out Frdiay at 10 AM". He asked that I call him mid-week with an estimated rider count if possible.
Jamie, if you get tired of that "Sears ATV" one of the Black Friday Shoppers Warriors will be available.

That sounds perfect. Can you PM or email me your phone number and I will call you mid-week too. I should be able to borrow Weck Sr. Honda Foreman 500, but if that does'nt work out I might take ya up on the Warrior offer.
Based on this thread it sounds like its just me and you so far. I know of a couple people on the fence so I will try and do a little recruiting...

I'm up for a Friday gig. Call fatlimecat too. He got parts for the Kitty today and should be ready to roll by then. Hopefully I can get my new winch wired on Thursday.
Speaking of winch wiring, where do most of you put the contact box?? The shi!!y directions say near the battery or under seat in a clean dry place (yeah right). But the wiring coming out of the box favors mounting right on the winch. Weird. Any help would be great.

Spragueville Iowa is located on Highway 64 approximately 15 miles East of Maquoketa or approximately 3 miles West of Preston. Coming from UBC you can go through Delmar instead of going all the way to Maquoketa.
Take Highway 61 North approximately 30 miles to 250th Avenue (just North of Welton).
Take 250th Avenue North/NorthEast through Delmar, turn East at 4-way Stop onto Highway 136 by Caseys General Store. Follow Highway 136 approximately 1/8th mile then turn North onto 252nd Avenue/CR-Y60. Follow 252nd Avenue/CR-Y60 for approximately 3 miles to a Tee intersection at Highway 64.
Go East on Highway 64 approximately 10 miles to CR-Z20 North to Spragueville. Continue on CR-Z20 to Spragueville which is approximately 1 mile.
From the Spragueville 4-way stop continue North on CR-Z20 approximately 2.5 miles to 82nd Street East. Follow 82nd Street approximately 2.5 miles East until it ends in Kenny's farm yard. Be sure to "hang right" about 1/4 mile after you get on 82nd Street or you will end up going North on 400th Avenue and you don't want to be lost out here were the coyotes....
Call my cell (563.349.4410) when you leave UBC and I can meet you in Spragueville or attempt to give better directions.

I have a big heater in the Toy Box if we need to warm up. A little snow could be fun!
